The Beattie family has been in business in Castleblayney since 1916 when my grandfather set up his business in Main Street. Beattie Real Estate was established on the backbone of a good name. With this very much in mind, we still offer our services today with integrity, initiative and confidence with the sole aim of meeting our customers’ expectations. 

The business is now run by me, John Beattie, a graduate of engineering from Dundalk Institute of Technology. I have been a member of Engineers of Ireland MIEI since 1987 and have worked in the UK, Japan, China and Hong Kong. I studied Auctioneering and Estate Agency with the Institute of Professional Auctioneers and Valuers (IPAV) of which I am a member and a certified valuer.

I am also a QFA (Qualified Financial Adviser), having studied at University College Dublin UCD and am a Member of LIA.
